Abstract

This study explored the relationships among psychological capital, life satisfaction, and psychological adjustment. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25 and AMOS 24. A total of 352 people participated in this study, including 241 men (68.5%) and 111 women (31.5%). The mean age of the participants was 22.36 years (SD = 6.18 years). The primary aim was to investigate how individuals’ levels of psychological capital influence their life satisfaction and psychological adjustment. In this study, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was applied to examine research hypotheses. The findings revealed a positive correlation between psychological capital and life satisfaction, indicating that individuals with higher psychological capital tend to report greater life satisfaction. Additionally, higher psychological capital was associated with better psychological adjustment, suggesting that individuals with greater psychological resources manage life challenges more effectively. A positive relationship was also observed between psychological adjustment and life satisfaction, indicating that lower psychological adjustment is generally associated with reduced life satisfaction. These results highlight the importance of psychological capital in enhancing overall well-being and quality of life. Therefore, interventions aimed at strengthening psychological capital may improve life satisfaction and adaptive psychological functioning. However, this study has certain limitations, including the use of self-report measures, which may introduce response biases, and a cross-sectional design, which limits causal interpretations.
