Journal of ROL Sport Sciences followed a quarterly, issue-based publication model until the end of 2025. Beginning with the 2026 publication year, the journal adopted the Continuous Publication model. Accordingly, articles are published online individually as soon as the peer-review, acceptance, editing, and production processes are completed, without waiting for the completion of a scheduled issue.

For indexing, abstracting, library cataloguing, and serial-management purposes, the journal’s publication frequency should therefore be recorded as “Continuous Publication” from 2026 onward. The publication history up to and including 2025 should remain identified as quarterly and issue-based.
