Aim: In this study, it was aimed to examine the behavior of archery coaches in Turkey towards their athletes and to determine the differences between different variables. Material and Method: The Research Universe consists of licensed active archers who participated in local, regional, national and international competitions in Turkey in the 2021/2022 season. The sample consists of 502 participants selected by simple random sampling. "Coach Behavior Scale for Sport" was used as a data collection tool in the research, as well as the demographic information of athletes and coaches. Statistical analysis of the data obtained in the study was carried out in the SPSS 22.0 package by applying descriptive statistics, independent testing and analysis of variance. Results: As a result of the evaluations, it was determined that the athletes who are older and doing sports perceive the behaviors of the trainers as inadequate and negative. On the other hand, the behaviors of middle-aged coaches with national team experience were welcomed by the athletes. Conclusion: As a result of this study, they determined that archery trainers are generally inadequate in terms of basic training and competition factors and positive trainer behaviors. In order for the trainers to be effective on the athletes, they need to constantly renew their knowledge and skills. However, they must be very aware of the athlete's motivational needs during training and competition.
