THE INVESTIGATION OF DRIVERS’ STATE AND TRAIT ANXIETIES BY SOME VARIABLES

Abstract

The purpose of this research, state-trait anxiety levels of drivers to examine some of the variables. Research data has a quantitative paradigm. In this study, the relational model is used to scan. The constant traffic of the study group in the province of Konya, and life continued from driver fee from 401 individuals, respectively. As a means of data collection, Spielberger, Goorsuch and Lushene (1970 transmits Öner and LeCompte, (1983) state-trait anxiety inventory form developed by the sub-test was used to measure anxiety. ANOVA and Tukey test were used to analyze the data. The research results ; drivers to state and trait anxiety levels were compared with analysis of variance according to the age variable, the relationship of state anxiety were not significant relationship was found in cases of ongoing concern. Another result is, the drivers according to state and trait anxiety significantly differentiate the level of education
