Abstract

Nureddin Caca who is Bahaeddin Caca’s son was born in Kırşehir in 1240.He worked as a governor in Eskisehir, Tokat and Kırsehir in Sultan Gıyaseddin Keyhusrev III.. period. Nureddin Caca’s death time is not accurately known. However, it is astimedet that he martyrized during the war with Byzantine feudal lords when he was a frontier bey. He had constructed the medresseh which is called with his name in Kırsehir in 172. This medresseh has ab important role in Kırsehir’s cultural life from past to today. In this medresseh, the studies on astronomy had beeen carried out besides theology. Furtermore, sciences such as mathematies, chemstry had been studied.
