The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between the aerobic and anaerobic capacities of amateur soccer players. 22 amateur male soccer players participated voluntarily in this study. The average age of the participants was 22.23±2.52 years, their average body weight was 70.41±6.96 kg, and their average height was 178.59±4.82 cm. Players' peak power, average power, minimum power, and power drop characteristics were measured via Wingate Anaerobic Power Test. In addition, their aerobic endurance capacities determined by the 20 Meter Shuttle Run Test. In order to determine the correlation between both capacities, Pearson Correlation Analysis in SPSS (Ver.22.0) program was used and α set as 0.05. In conclusion, the analysis results indicated that the relationship between aerobic and anaerobic capacities of players was not significant.
