In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between proactive personalities and mental toughness of students studying at the faculty of sports sciences. 168 volunteer students out of 480 students studying at Isparta Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Sport Sciences in the 2020-2021 academic year participated in the research. In order to apply the personal information form prepared by the researcher and the mental toughness scales of proactive personalities that include students studying at the faculty of sports sciences, data collection was done via the Google document application tool on the internet. Research data were analyzed in computer environment and non-parametric statistical analysis tests were applied. The scores obtained by the participants from the scales were presented as arithmetic mean and standard deviation x±sd. Spearmen correlation analyzes were performed to determine the relationships between the scales. As a result, it was determined that the proactive personality and mental resilience of the students participating in the study were high and moderately positively correlated with their proactive personality and mental resilience. It is thought that this situation arises from the fact that the students who are the subject of the study have a history of sportsmanship and their ability to adapt to changing situations and manage the stress and pressures that may arise in the face of the difficulties they have experienced in the courses that require sports skills within the program they are studying.
