Rekreasyonel perspektiften algılanan stresin boş zaman tatminine etkisi

Rekreasyonel faaliyetler bireylere fiziksel, fizyolojik, psikolojik veya sosyal açıdan fayda sağlayabilmekte, bu yönüyle bireylerin boş zamanlarından tatmin olması veya tatmin düzeyinin artması mümkün görülmektedir. Öte yandan stres, bireylerin sahip olduğu olumlu duygu durumlarını düşürebilmekte böylece yaşam kalitesini olumsuz etkileyebilmektedir. Buradan hareketle bu araştırmanın amacı, algılanan stresin boş zaman tatminine etkisinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada farklı rekreasyonel faaliyetlere (sportif, sosyal, sanatsal veya kültürel) katılan 237 kadın ve 210 erkek olmak üzere 447 gönüllü birey yer almıştır. Katılımcıların algıladıkları stres “Algılanan Stres Ölçeği (ASÖ-4)” ve boş zaman tatmin düzeyleri “Boş Zaman Tatmin Ölçeği (BZTÖ)” ölçekleri aracılığıyla tespit edilmiştir. Ölçeklere yönelik güvenirlik ve geçerlik testlerinin ardından kurgulanan yapısal model AMOS programında test edilmiştir. Katılımcıların algıladıkları stres, boş zaman tatmininin sosyal boyutunu %37,7 oranında açıklarken fizyolojik boyutu %36,2 ve psikolojik boyutu %38,8 oranında açıklamaktadır. Sonuç olarak, rekreasyonel faaliyetlere dahil olan bireylerin algıladıkları stres düzeyinin boş zamanda edinilen tatmin durumunun önemli bir belirleyicisi olduğu anlaşılmıştır.
