Abstract

In this study vocational schools in higher education of vocational training and industry cooperation was discussed and views of students, academicians and industrialists were reached through Rating Scale Relating to Vocational Schools – Industry Cooperation. In consideration of the data obtained statistical analyses were carried out and the results were evaluated. In order to control the construct validity of the scale, first reliability test and exploratory factor analysis and then to test model conformity confirmatory factor analysis was made. Beside that internal consistency parameters of the scale was .827, it was understood that this scale was reliable. İn the results of confirmatory factor analysis the value of RMSEA’s being .069 proved the model conformity. In addition to determine whether the views relating to Vocational Schools- Industry Cooperation showed a significant difference in terms of occupational groups or not, one- way analysis of variance was carried out and the difference between occupational groups was found statistically significant (p< .05).
