A WOMAN CHARACTER IN THE EPICS OF TUVA TURK: BORA SELEEY

Abstract

In this study, Bora Seleey the female character in the epic of Boktu Kiris- Bora Seleey which has an important role in Tuva Turk epics will be introduced and analyzed. İt tends to be a common rule that a leading role is usually chosen from male characters in epics. The epics of exceptional examples of this rule are always so remarkable in this respect. Bora Seleey, the female character on who forms the basis of our work, is the co-lead role with the brother-in-law Boktu Kiris in this epic. In overall we will try to introduce Bora Seleey as an epic character with examples in this study.
