COMPARISON OF LEVEL OF REFLECTION OF VALUES WHICH SOCIAL STUDIES CURRICULUM DEFINES IN THE 6TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES COURSE BOOKS

This study aims to reveal reflection level of values such as “Scientific”, Sensibility to natural environment”, Sensibility to the cultural heritage”, “Responsibility”, “Altruism”, “Respect for rights and freedoms” and “Diligence” to the 6th grade social studies course books. The Course Books printed by the Ministry of National Education Publish and Private Publish were examined. In the study document analysis were employed. As a result of the analysis, while the values were included 128 times in the 6th grade social studies course books published by the private press, they were included 44 times in the course books published by the Ministry of National Education.
