Abstract

In this study , adolescents according to cognitive flexibility levels and whether their self-efficacy change according to their gender is explored , the sample of the survey is consist of 14-18 years old adolescents . 513 of them are girls and 472 are boys. Total students are 1035. Datas have been achieved by " Cognitive Flexibility Scale" (BEÖ), " Personal Information and Competence Expectancy Scale in Adolescents Form". Datas which were obtained from the research result were evaluated with the help of SPSS package program a two-way analysis of variance 20.0 (ANOVA) . As a result , the greater cognitive flexibility of adolescents , academic, social , emotional and general self efficancy increase more . In this study we see significant differences in favor of girls between different gendered adolescents , but no differences were seen in terms of emotional self efficacy.
