This study was conducted in order to contribute to the development of motor skills with the movement education program of 4-6 years old preschool children, to improve the movement education activities applied in the plans and programs used in pre-school education and to set an example for the researches that can be done in this field. In the research, experimental design with pretest - posttest control group was used. While the children in the control group continued their normal preschool education, the children in the experimental group were given a movement training program for 1 hour 3 days a week for 14 weeks and their effect on the motor skill development of the children was investigated. In our study, statistically significant differences were found between the motor skill measurement results of the study group in which the movement training program was applied and the control group who did not. It was understood that in all of the measured balance, quickness, catching, standing long jump, speed and throwing a tennis ball skills, the difference between the groups was in favor of the study group on which the movement training program was applied. This result reveals that the movement training program has a positive effect on the motor skill development of 4-6 age group children.
